Giardini di Villa Borghese
Raggiungibile da piazza del Popolo o da via Veneto, il parco di Villa Borghese regala infinite sorprese. È anche detto il “parco dei musei”, perché al suo interno custodisce veri e propri gioielli artistici: dal Museo di Pietro Canonica, al Museo di Carlo Bilotti (entrambi ad ingresso gratuito), fino alla straordinaria Galleria Borghese. Se siete in cerca di calma e relax, la zona del laghetto farà al vostro caso, con la possibilità di noleggiare le barchette e godersi il sole estivo.
Le catacombe di San Callisto
Le Catacombe di San Callisto sono tra le più famose della Capitale. Si estendono per oltre 20 km di gallerie su più livelli, e d’estate sono l’ideale per un tour storico nel fresco dei sotterranei. I nuclei più antichi sono le cripte di Lucina e la regione detta dei Papi e di Santa Cecilia, dove si conservano alcune tra le memorie più sacre del luogo.
Il tempio del Bramante al Gianicolo
Salire al Gianicolo offre una delle più belle viste sulla città di Roma. Situato nel pieno centro di Roma, al Gianicolo si trova anche il complesso di San Pietro in Montorio. Un piccolo gioiello architettonico, tra i più straordinari esempi del Rinascimento, realizzato dal grande Donato Bramante che ancora oggi stupisce per il suo ingegno, la sua perfezione e originalità.
Castel Sant’Angelo notturno
Uno dei più conosciuti simboli di Roma, è presente in città fin dall’epoca romana. Nato come mausoleo dell’imperatore Adriano, diventò prima avamposto militare, poi castello inespugnabile, sontuosa residenza papale e anche temutissima prigione. La magia di Castel Sant’Angelo con la visita in notturna, grazie anche alle aperture del Bagnetto di Clemente VII e del celebre Passetto di Borgo, è un appuntamento assolutamente imperdibile dell’estate romana. Cripta dei cappuccini
Se il macabro non vi spaventa e vedere stanze interamente decorate con scheletri umani non vi suggestiona, la Cripta dei Cappuccini è il luogo per voi. In via Veneto si trova questo luogo unico in città, dove i frati seppero trasformare realmente la morte in arte! Un’esperienza altamente immersiva da provare assolutamente.
Gardens of Villa Borghese
Reachable from Piazza del Popolo or from Via Veneto, the park of Villa Borghese offers endless surprises. Catacombs of San Callisto
The Catacombs of San Callisto are among the most famous of the Capital. The oldest nuclei are the crypts of Lucina and the region known as the Popes and St. Cecilia, where some of the most sacred memories of the place are preserved.
Bramante's Temple on the Janiculum
Going up to the Janiculum offers one of the most beautiful views of the city of Rome. Located right in the center of Rome, on the Janiculum is also the complex of San Pietro in Montorio. Castel Sant'Angelo by night
One of the best known symbols of Rome, it has been present in the city since Roman times. Born as a mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian, it became first a military outpost, then an impregnable castle, a sumptuous papal residence and also a feared prison. Crypt of the Capuchins

Quartiere Coppedè
Il quartiere Coppedè si trova un po’ più distante dal centro storico, ma una capatina ne varrà la pena. La sua architettura originale e bizzarra vi porterà all’interno di un mondo fantastico, popolato da esseri mitologici e figure simboliche. Tra villini, palazzi, fontane e palazzine dal gusto fiabesco, vi ritroverete a passeggiare in un mondo fuori dal comune. È composto da diciotto palazzi e ventisette tra palazzine ed edifici disposte intorno al nucleo centrale di piazza Mincio.
Isola Tiberina e Ghetto ebraico
Una passeggiata sulla caratteristica isoletta del Tevere non può mancare. Abitata e frequentata fin dall’epoca romana, è il punto di collegamento e passeggio tra le due sponde del fiume. Da lì è possibile ammirare anche la straordinaria opera ingegneristica dei muraglioni del Tevere che dalla fine del 1800 proteggono la città dalle inondazioni. Da abbinare alla visita consigliamo la passeggiata al vicino “ghetto ebraico”, che fu smantellato definitivamente solo a fine ‘800 e che oggi costituisce un gioiello prezioso di storia e architettura, con le sue vie caratteristiche.
Trastevere
Come tappa serale non può mancare la passeggiata al quartiere Trastevere. Si trova sulla riva destra del Tevere e a sud della Città del Vaticano, e le sue vie vi porteranno dentro un’altra epoca. È noto per le trattorie tradizionali romane, le birrerie artigianali e i negozi di artigianato. La sera è un quartiere vivo e movimentato da turisti e frequentatori abituali, un luogo perfetto dove respirare la tipica aria romana.
Coppedè district
The Coppedè district is located a little further away from the historic center, but it is worth a visit. Its original and bizarre architecture will take you inside a fantastic world, populated by mythological beings and symbolic figures. Among villas, palaces, fountains and buildings with a fairy-tale taste, you will find yourself walking in a world out of the ordinary. It is composed of eighteen palaces and twenty-seven buildings arranged around the central core of Mincio square.
Coppedè district
A walk on the characteristic island of the Tiber is a must. Inhabited and frequented since Roman times, it is the point of connection and walking between the two banks of the river. From there you can also admire the extraordinary engineering work of the Tiber walls that since the end of 1800 protect the city from flooding. To combine the visit we recommend a walk to the nearby “Jewish ghetto”, which was finally dismantled only at the end of ‘800 and that today is a precious jewel of history and architecture, with its characteristic streets.
Trastevere
As an evening stop you can not miss the walk to the Trastevere district. It is located on the right bank of the Tiber and south of Vatican City, and its streets will take you into another era. It is known for its traditional Roman trattorias, craft breweries and artisan stores. In the evening it is a lively neighborhood bustling with tourists and regulars, a perfect place to breathe in the typical Roman atmosphere.
